On Breslauer Straße in Nuremberg, the Hagedorn Group is currently tackling its biggest demolition project of the year and is dismantling 600,000 cubic metres of converted space. Millions of catalogues for Quelle, Otto and Ikea were printed year after year in what used to be Europe's largest printing plant. Like many other print shops in Germany, the plant in Nuremberg fell victim to digitalisation. Operations ended in April 2021. The Hagedorn Group is now making space for a new future. A new school centre and a modern business park are to be built on the 100,000 square metre site.
