Important contribution to the energy transition in Beckum

With its work on the Beckum wind farm, the Hagedorn Group is making an important contribution to the energy transition while strengthening the regional economy. Hagedorn Bau GmbH is involved in the construction of the new Beckum wind farm, an important project for the energy transition in North Rhine-Westphalia. Work officially began with yesterday's groundbreaking ceremony. The services for this project include the excavation of the foundations, the construction of new access routes and the installation of the trench pipework. ‘Our team has the necessary expertise for this and we are pleased to be part of such an important energy transition project,’ says Aleksandar Petrovic, Head of the Environment and Energy division at Hagedorn Bau GmbH.

The project is being implemented by EEF Erneuerbare Energien Fabrik and relies on state-of-the-art technology: a total of three Nordex N149 and one N133 with a total output of 21.9 MW will be installed. The wind farm will generate around 46,000 MWh of clean electricity annually, enough to supply around 15,000 households.
