Christian Lindner visits Hagedorn – insights into innovations in recycling management and digitalisation
The leader of the FDP, Christian Lindner, visited the Hagedorn Group yesterday to find out about the latest developments in the circular economy and digitalisation in the construction sector. At the headquarters in Gütersloh, Thomas Hagedorn and his team gave an exciting insight into the advanced recycling processes and digital technologies that the company is driving forward.
Lindner was impressed by the modern methods Hagedorn uses to convert construction waste into high-quality recycled materials. During a tour of the 50,000-square-metre recycling centre of the Schüttflix GROUP, he was shown the entire value chain – from sorting to processing construction waste into reusable materials.
Particular attention was paid to the innovative digital tools and the use of artificial intelligence that Hagedorn uses to optimise recycling processes and increase efficiency in the company. The tour of the workshop and the presentation of the latest digital developments provided a comprehensive overview of the pioneering technologies that the company is establishing in the industry.
During the visit, Thomas Hagedorn took the opportunity to send a clear message to politicians: ‘Germany needs a quick and clear roadmap so that medium-sized companies finally become the focus of German economic policy again.’ In doing so, he addressed a central concern of the group, which sees itself as a pioneer in sustainable business and is making its contribution to the development of a future-oriented circular economy.
Christian Lindner's visit emphasises the importance of sustainable innovation and digital transformation in the construction sector – topics that are not only the focus of attention at Hagedorn, but are also actively promoted.
